Our dog handler was "Blue." When we'd visit him, his dogs snarled viciously. Blue laughingly recalled the night he was leading a dog down a steep slope when he tripped and fell onto his back. The guard dog advanced on him and Blue braced to fight off the attack animal. The dog licked his face.
